First admin log in fails

$

Does anyone know the password for the first admin login. It fails every
time with the “admin” what is stated. I did the setup for several times restarted
openfire, but nothing helped. How can I get into the webinterface? The password
is always wrong. It's may be an encryption problem by the java Version. Where can I patch it?

My system is ubuntu server 16.04 LTS with LAMP and java jre 9, openfire 4.0.3 with embedded database because connection to mySql failed.

openfire do not know the user password for the mysql database, but there is no position to get it in?!

Can anyone give me support on that?

Based on my company's requirement I am seeking for a tool which should capable for voice & video group/one on one chat and file sharing features. Does Openfire supports all mentioned features? As on different posts different opinions are posted. Waiting for your nice guidance.

Here are all of the raw packets received today when I received a message from a user, Jill, that didn't display although the chat window opened and flashed. You can see in the data below that the message itself did come in to spark, it just wasn't displayed.

Re: Openfire 4.1.0 alpha Hazelcast 2.2 HAProxy Docker

I can tell you that my hazelcast cluster does not have this happen. I am using 2 Windows 2008 servers for OpenFire and a windows 2012 server to host the Microsoft SQL database. I was testing my setup today and had over 139k users online and I've shut down a server to make sure the connections continue going to the other server and it does in fact function as it is supposed to.

I am also using a Barracuda Load Balancer in front of those 2 servers so when I take one server down, the load balancer sees this and starts sending all traffic to the other server/node until the first server comes back online. Then it sends the incoming connections to both servers. I can set the load balancer to use round robin or least connections. In either case it works as it should.

You don't use commas, so it is hard to understand what exactly do you need. Does voice/video have to be group or one on one also? What do you mean by file sharing? Sending files one on one or sharing them in the group chat? Anyway. Video/Voice are not available out of the box. Though there is Openfire Meetings plugin, which provides video chat conference (not exactly one on one). It is web based and requires Chrome. It works for some, but doesn't work for many. So, it kind of supports this, but it can be tricky. Sending files is more a client feature. Though Openfire has File transfer proxy to make it easier for clients. There is no option to share files in the group chat.

I did a search and replace to replace the name of the server that Open Fire is installed on to OpenFireServer, but Domain is just how it is in the logs. We have only one domain and our openfire server shouldn't be trying to contact another server or domain. I'll have to look into that to figure out what is going on.

Ok, thank you. But I'm sorry, I don't understand the fix. Is there a new version of Spark with that change rolled into it?

  1. Openfire ships with various, pre-populated, stores. They can be modified through the admin panel, or using the Java keytool command.
  2. Because we are terrible in maintaining a proper set of certificates in the stores that we ship. :-/
  3. I can't explain that.
  4. Yeah, those pages would benefit from an overhaul. Column-based sorting would be nice.

Has anyone successfully installed Openfire on 64 bit Windows Server 2012 R2?

Recently tried but no success installing Openfire 4.0.2 on our new 64 bit Windows Server running 2012 R2. (Ran Openfire and Spark on our old 32 bit for years, no problem). Has anyone been able to get it going? Are there any step by step instructions?  Any tips helpful.
